2025 Kia K5 Release Date, Price, Specs, Latest News, Leaks, Rumours, Interior & Exterior! The K5 is spacious yet sporty, extremely well-built, and fun to drive for a long road trip. Though the higher-trim models of the Kia K5 are quite alluring, its base model has failed to attract a lot of customers because its wheels and tires are not that satisfactory. Considering this dissatisfaction of the buyers, the manufacturing company has decided to introduce the 2025 Kia K5 in a very short time. This model, mostly indifferent to the previous model year, is expected to come with few changes in trim level and equipment. For the new model year, the LXS trim is going to replace the LX trim, whereas all-wheel drive won’t remain an option anymore.

2025 Kia K5: Price and Release Date

There has been no official announcement about the price or release date of the 2025 Kia K5. Besides the 2024 Kia K5 is still on its way to debut in December this year with an assumed pricing range of $25,500 to $33,900. Hopefully, the new 2025 Kia K5 may hit the market in the later part of 2024, and it may cost slightly more than the 2024 Kia K5 as it is modified and improved in some aspects. A reliable source claims that the 2025 Kia K5 is going to value customers’ money with its amusing interior and appealing and useful amenities.

2025 Kia K5: Engine Power, and Performance

The 2025 Kia K5 is going to have a turbocharged 1.6-liter gas engine, capable of producing 108 horsepower at 5500 rpm and 195 lb-ft of torque at 1500 rpm with its 4 cylinders. Having an automatic transmission, all-wheel drive, and an 8-speed gearbox, the vehicle can be accelerated from 0 to 60 mph in 5 seconds and can reach a maximum speed of 155 miles per hour. The fuel tank contains up to 14.8 gallons of gasoline which provide 25 MPG in the city and 33 MPG on the highway.

Design Uplift

Even though the base model of the Kia K5 is equipped with all of the latest tech and safety equipment one could ever want, the base trim of the car apparently looks cheap. The 2025 Kia K5 is going to overcome this shortcoming by bringing a few changes in the trim levels and in designs. The model is expected to be a solid-feeling car that has a fantastic outward appearance with minimum blind spots. The K5, after an uplifted makeover, is going to nail the driving dynamics with its sporty look and performance. The newly designed body lines are expected to look better with newly designed wheels that have an all-wheel transmission for the base trim.

Hopefully the car will replace the old, annoying adaptive lane assist system with a new one. The GT-Line is going to have newly designed 18-inch wheels, a 10-way powered driver’s seat, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, an acoustic glass well, and wireless smartphone charging, with a new optional package having a panoramic roof, LED interior lighting, and gloss-black body molding. Moreover, we will be able to invest in premium options that have full LED headlights, adaptive cruise control, and enhanced forward collision warning. The new EX trim has standard acoustic front door glass that helps minimize noise from the road.

2025 Kia K5: Dimensions and Weight

So far, we know that there will be no significant changes in the size of the 2025 Kia K5, so it will have the same dimensions as the current Kai K5. The existing K5 has dimensions that include 5.3 inches of ground clearance, a 112.2-inch wheelbase, a 193.1-inch length, a 73.2-inch width, a 56.9-inch height, and a 3,148-pound curb weight.
